Victoria Ortega’s litigation practice is focused on advising clients on a wide variety of issues and advocating for them in complex business disputes, commercial litigation, and white collar criminal defense matters.

She has successfully first-chaired and supported teams in trials, preliminary injunction hearings, and arbitrations on behalf of large corporations and individuals in state and federal court.

Victoria has been lead associate on various investigations involving money laundering, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”), bid-rigging, bribery, and fraud. She also represents businesses in connection with corporate governance and compliance matters.

Victoria is experienced in traditional healthcare regulatory compliance, including fraud and abuse analysis, licensure, and reimbursement advice. She works alongside Blank Rome’s government relations professionals and other attorneys to assist clients in developing strategies to address both regulatory compliance requirements as well as public policy issues.

Victoria devotes her pro bono practice to asylum applicants and has won asylum for three unaccompanied minors.

She is a member of Blank Rome’s Recruitment, Pro Bono, and Diversity Committees.
